“As soon as they started shouting and praising, God set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir as they were attacking Judah, and they all ended up dead. The Ammonites and Moabites mistakenly attacked those from Mount Seir and massacred them. Then, further confused, they went at each other, and all ended up killed.” 2Chronicles20:22-23 AMP

Victory in ones endeavour, life’s challenge, or battle is the usual reason why people celebrate, hence it becomes almost(if not totally) weird when someone celebrates their victory when the war/battle hasn’t started, talk less of being over…The opposite, was what happened in 2Chronicles20, when king Jehoshapat was instructed by God to put singers, praisers and dancers in the war front. Really, even a 2-year old is wise(humanly speaking) enough to know that a war is a WAR and not a “church thanksgiving service” where you celebrate instead of fighting the enemy, but here was the ONLY wise God commanding a celebration before PHYSICAL victory…it seems like the “dumbest” thing to do, doesn’t it?
The result of them “celebrating” wasn’t a mass burial as you might have anticipated, in actual fact “as soon as they started shouting and praising …” ,God manifested and gave them an effortless VICTORY

Now, you are wondering why would God instruct His people to celebrate even when they had not won a battle? Good thinkingÓźÖ

Faith, the bible says “cometh by hearing”-Romans10:17, God had told them that the war wasn’t theirs but His, so all they had to do was believe His words(which bringeth faith) and act upon it!. They started celebrating their victory over the enemy because faith(which is the VICTORY that overcome the world- 1John5:4) had come-through hearing, believing and acting on His word…NOW is the time to celebrate my dear, for the scripture say..”
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans8:37KJV

THE VICTORY IS ALREADY YOURS! START THE CELEBRATION……NOW!!!!!!!!!!..Much love …Anuoluwapo Ademuyiwa
