Greatness dressed in rags

Isn’t it amazing that the blessings of God often do not look anything like it? Even Christ our Saviour, in whom lies bodily the fullness of the God head, didn’t look anything like royalty-the King of kings, born in a manger and trained as a carpenter.

” I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”Jeremiah 29:11 MSG                                                             Sometimes, we might not understand what God is doing; it’s as though we are getting the exact opposite of what we asked for in prayers. But, our God is a good God and His actions are love-actions generated from a loving heart…if only we knew, if only we would accept His will and live by His counsels and instructions, we wouldn’t have run from His presence as it were. If only we knew the thoughts and intents of His heart we would wait on Him, with joy and patient expectation…trusting totally in His perfect plans. We would look beyond the “container” into the “content” and see greatness dressed in rags, prosperity in seeming poverty, a jet in a bicycle, a bright future in that young man or woman; we will see a great God walking behind the little shepherd boy-David.

My dear, you are not a mishap nor are you a biological accident.
You are a divine project; the apple of God’s eyes and you have a glorious destiny! Therefore, let no man look down on you, neither despise thy little beginning for you serve a living God and faithful Father. HE IS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES, MAKING ALL THINGS(INCLUDING YOUR MISTAKES) WORK TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD!

Hold unto His word, for His loving kindness endureth forever.
