Monday faithpills: Do it in faith!

“March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”  Joshua 6:3-5 NIV

Hi dear, thanks for dropping by…I hope you have been great and your day was stress-free?

In today’s monday faithpills, we will be looking at one of the most beautiful stories in the bible. It’s the popular story of how God gave his people victory over the inhabitants of Jericho via the most illogical way; by shouting.

Who would have thought that “shouting” of all things to do, was all that the Israelites had to do inorder to break down the walls of Jericho. But come to think of it, I bet you must have shouted a couple of times(especially if you are a soccer fan) but the walls of your house haven’t fallen yet.

Why? That’s because “shouting” in itself can’t bring down any wall.

Shouting becomes a weapon of warfare simply because God said to do so, and anyone can shout from today till next year…if it’s the instruction from the Lord of Host, then it’s a total waste of time.

What am I driving at? Two things to be precise.

1. God’s strategy of winning doesn’t always make sense.

2. For every battle/challenges we face in life, God has a specific instruction on how to go about them.

Are you faced with an unpleasant situation?
Have you prayed about it?
What has He instructed you to do?
Do it in faith my dear… even if He says to shout! Your victory lies in acting by faith(in Him∈ his word).

I hope you were blessed? I believe that God blesses us so we can be a blessing to the world around us,  so don’t stop by reading alone…be a blessing to someone else by sharing the post.

Bless your darling heart.

The bible says”the devil roars like a lion too………” that means even the devil can tell you to shout but only the shout authorized by God that can and will change your situation around……….Nice one.
