Monday faithpills: The law of sowing and reaping

Hi dear,

Thanks for dropping by.Wink*

Hope you had a wonderful weekend?

“Cast your bread upon the waters for after many days you will find it again.”
                  Ecclesiastes 11:1 NIV

As a child, I remember taking bread and tea atleast twice a week, with Sunday morning being a constant and I must confess that although eating bread was cool, life was sweeter with my mum’s richly prepared Bourvita tea.

My usual practice(then,..
I am now a big bo.Wink*) was to soak my bread in tea…and there it was, the greatest magic on earth(apart from having a mirror reflect my image), or so I believed- My little bread becomes bigger & softer!

What I never saw happen was the shrinking of my bread. It just never happened. I didn’t understand it then but I guess I do now; it was simply osmosis.

Osmosis resulted in the swelling of my bread, as my Bourvita rich tea moved from a region of higher concentration, crossing an invisible semi-permeable (just between the tea & bread) into the region of lower concentration(inside the bread), and lodging itself into the bread molecules thereby filling up the spaces within.

Okay, enough of my scientifical jagon.smiling*

So what exactly am I trying to say?

Simply put, your seed can never be greater/bigger than your harvest! It will always swells up(like my bread) through spiritual osmosis,  coming back to you- multiplied!

According to Anuoluwapo’s school of thought, the law of sowing and reaping states that “whatsoever a man sows, that he shall also reap; only that, the harvest is always bigger in size, proportion or quantity than the seed” .

I have often heard that one can count the number of seeds in a fruit, but not the number of fruits in that single seed(when planted). And that,  my dear is a Universal law! Your harvest will always supercede your seed(except ofcourse, one or more seed-eaters ate your seed without your consent.wink*)

“But, I don’t believe one should give to God inorder to receive  more…it just doesn’t feel right“, you might say.

I use to feel that way too, but my dear, the law of sowing & reaping is not dependent of emotions...it’s an eternal law that will work(if you work it, regardless of what everyone else feels), because it was enacted by God Himself!

“As long as the the earth endures, seedtime and harvest,…will never cease”.
                    Genesis 8:22 NIV

Hence, the next time you are in a position to give(to God or man) please don’t feel like you are losing your gift(financially or materially) but get excited…why?
Because the Law of sowing and reaping ALWAYS works no matter how long it takes!!!

As Brother Oral Robert would say, the 3 keys of the miracle of seed-faith is to trust God as your source, sow a seed in and expect a miracleso be expectant my dear, it’s not a sin to!

Get ready for your harvest!!! Dancing over here.wink*

Have a blessed week my dear.

Bless your darling heart.

Try again, and again and again…

Hi dear, it’s your friend Anuoluwapo

Hope you’ve been good?

Thanks for dropping by!

First, I did like apologies for this late delivery of today’s post…I had a long, nice and funny day.wink*

It was around 8pm yesterday night after church service when it dawned on me that I wouldn’t be able to make it home(I presently stay in a Fellowship family house, & our curfew is by 8pm) and I knew I had to find a place to pass the night…basically because, I really don’t like speaking too much grammar(if you know what I mean.wink*)

During the day, I had spent most of the time reading Jack Canfield’s book The Success Principles and it was time to practise what I had read in the eighteen chapter(titled- Reject Rejection). I believe the main idea behind this particular chapter is not to take rejections as personal, and to keep asking until you get that which you want.

There I was, with different thoughts running through my head. Quickly, I remembered seeing a friend during service but I couldn’t imagine sleeping over at a lady’s plus I had not informed her earlier, so I thought of a male friend and there goes the first rejection.

The thought of going to him wasn’t really funny in itself(I didn’t know this guy that much), but as Jack had recommended in previous chapters (to experience your fear and act anyway), I felt the fear of rejection and went anyway.

Unknown to me, my friend didn’t stay in town and only comes on wednesdays(for church service) and lay his head at a friend’s. I didn’t want to become an extra badge for his friend so I went on to the next person.

The next person was quite older and I was really positive about getting a “yes, you can sleep over at my place , but all he did was give me false hope and eventually declined my request.

I knew I couldn’t sleep on the street, so I tried again and finally got a yes! Although, the third person didn’t say a yes or a no “at first” because he was particularly busy clearing the stage, so all I did was help out with the clearing and asked again after we finished. He said yes with a smiling face!

So you might ask, “What exactly is Anuoluwapo trying to say?”…

Many a time we are faced with rejections in life. Sometimes, it’s a NO! to your dreams, a NO! from the lady you asked out on a date out, a NO! at the job interviewa NO! even from friends & family, but if you will only try again, and again, and again…you will surely get a YES!

Don’t ever give up on your dreams my dear, just try again at some other time, in some other place or with some other person and you get a big fat YES! …just one more try.

Your “YES!” is waiting for you.wink*

Thanks once again, I really appreciate you dropping by.

Please feel free to post you comments and share post with your community og friends and family(via facebook, twitter…)

Monday faithpills; You are deeply loved my dear!

Hi dear!

“Behold what manner of love the Father  has bestowed on us, that we should be  called children of God!” 1 John1:3 NKJV

It was really a beautiful experience falling in love. I remember my first relationship(I didn’t tell you I was not planning to get married. Faith preachers get married you know, wink*) with this beautiful lady…dear Lord, I could almost give and do anything for her.

I felt butterflies jumping in my heart everytime I heard her voice, and as young(19year old) as I was, I was already thinking of getting married to her.

Dear Lord, it’s very funny things we do for love. There were time when I went visiting(was in my first year in the University and getting a little up-keep allowance) and I gave half of my allowance to her while I drank garri(Cassava flakes) many a time…actually, I did gave more then half of it, but she was the kind type and always advised I took half.(Obviously, we didn’t get married, but we are still very good friends)

So, you are wondering “Why’s Anu telling me about his love story?”

Okay, I actually did that to point out certain things my dear.

You would noticed I italicised certain statements above-
“I could almost give and do anything for her” & “I gave half of my allowance to her“. I used the word “could” and gave her “half”, because I am just as human as you are!

Plus, I loved her because I felt she loved me too…please don’t tell her I said so, but that’s the truth.wink*

But God’s love for you my dear, is quite different…it’s unconditional, exceptional and lavishly showered! In short, He is crazy about you and just so you know, nothing you do or don’t can ever change His love for you(why? Because you did nothing to deserve is love in the first place).

Scripture says that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. I love the way the Message Bible  puts it-

“Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.” Romans 5:6-8 MSG

God gave all, not half…He sent His best(Jesus Christ) not His angels because of His deep and eternal love for you and I!

Therefore, you can go through this week with the confidence of His unconditional love, knowing that you are deeply loved and He just can’t stop loving you!

You are a completely new creation honey!

Hello honey,

Thanks for dropping by!

Hope you had a lovely night rest? Though I think I over slept. wink*

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the
kingdom of his dear Son”
                   Colossians 1:13 KJV

While fellowshipping with God yesterday night, this particular scripture crossed my mind and I just kept saying it. One word that really caught my attention was the word-translated, and as I brood on it the Holy spirit gave a clearer understanding of what really took place on the Cross.

image

I later checked my mobile dictionary and the word “translate” is said to mean- restate(words) from one language into another.

Take for example, “I love you” in Mandarin Chinese is writen as ” 我爱你.”.
What on earth is that? Just kidding honey, but that gives us a clear understanding of what it really means to be translated/restated.

It means a complete change of state, and that, honey is what took place when you gave your life(actually, when received the God-life) to Christ.

No wonder scripture says in second Corinthians 5:17, that ” ..he is a new creation” completely new and old things have passed away!

“Anuoluwapo, that’s quite easy for you to say, I have been saved for years but nothing has changed…in fact, I didn’t think I am still born-again, I don’t feel different”  You might say, but the truth is that you don’t have to feel born-again to be born-again!

In the same way   ” 我爱你.” don’t feel like “I love you” , doesn’t make it invalid, infact if you ask any Chinese man, I bet he believes more in  ” 我爱你.” then in the English translation!

Hence, your new state, honey,  is a function of our faith(in Christ’s finished work) and not of our unstable feeling, plus the fact that you think nothing had changed about you is because salvation is first a spiritual birth before it becomes a physical manifestation as it were.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, so the more you say “I am a new creation”, the more you hear it for yourself and the more it sinks into your being such that it can’t but be manifested in your actions.

Honey, because you are in Christ, you are a completely new creation and all the demons of hell put together can’t change that eternal reality!

Blessed by the post? Feel free to share with your communtity of family, friends & even enemies(wink*). Together, we take the WORD to the world!

Monday faithpills: You are never alone honey!

“… For He Himself has  said, “I will never leave you nor forsake  you.”
            Hebrews 13:5 NKJV

The Arcus Dictionary defines loneliness as “The state of being alone in solitary isolation”.

image

I was only ten(10), but I could remember vividly my prominent experience with that sad guy called “loneliness” as though it happened yesterday. I had just gotten a new admission into my dad’s choice of a good school-CMS GRAMMAR SCHOOL, Bariga,Lagos(although now I am proud to be a grammarian.wink*), a school he so loved and admired as a teenager but couldn’t attend for financial constrain, and because home was quite far from school I had to stay in the boarding house.

As soon as I was done at the principal’s office, I was shown the way to the boarding house. With excitement, I ran towards the building hoping for the best only to be welcome by two hefty guys at the door who thought(in their rudiculous minds) that the best venue for my welcome party should be in one of their lockers. Who was I to disobey…, I quickly dropped my travelling bag and made my way into this big empty locker they had graciously prepared for me, and guess what? They shut me in!

Right in that dark locker, I felt so lonely and all I could do was cry. I wondered why my dad ever sent me here…though I couldn’t blame him either, he had never been here. His assumption of a good school wasn’t all that correct afterall. But after some seconds the two hefty guys(we use to call them “seniors”), decided that my welcome party was over and I could now take my travelling bag in.

I couldn’t imagine how people can be so cruel, they openned the door to the big locker and started laughing. Gosh!!! All the while, while I was in there crying…these guys were laughing!

Honey, at some points in life you might feel the way I felt when I was locked up in that locker; alone and afraid, feeling unloved and neglected..but I want you to always be rest assured that God is always with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you!

You are deeply loved, highly valued & always accepted by God.

Live life to the fullest, each day a from God to love lavishly, to forgive & admit your wrongs, to give as much as you can, to be the best of yourself, to say nothing in anger and always remember that in the end, nothing is more important than “family”!

Remember this is our year of ENLARGEMENT, so DREAM BIG and make NO SMALL PLANS!

Do have a lovely week ahead honey!

Bless your darling heart.

Be a blessing to someone else, kindly share this post with your community of friends, family and even enemies(just kidding*).

Anuoluwapo.

Your prayers are powerful & effective

Hi honey,

Thanks for dropping by!!!

Bet your day has been good(as I believe that all things work together for your good ultimately.wink*)

“…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
                                James 5:16 NIV

Ever read the scripture above and felt it just wasn’t written to you?

You thought, “This must be talking about the likes of great  men(and women) such as apostle Paul, John G. Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, Kathryn Kuhlman, Kenneth E. Hagin, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor E.A Adeboye and other well known anointed ministers…I am not as righteous as they are.”

Well, you are not alone honey. I use to think that way too until a got a revelation of what righteous really means.

In this week’s “monday faithpills”, we defined righteousness as “A divine gift, a state of being right with God based entirely on your faith in Christ Jesus, not on works/self-efforts. It is not right doing but right being.

Honey ,this gift isn’t meant for pastors, prophets, & preachers alone but for as many that have believed & received the Son(and that includes you and I).

By the way, the first man Abraham who was declared righteous received it by believing in God(and not be self-effort.)

“And he believed in the LORD, and He  accounted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:6 NKJV.

Honey, because of the finished work of Christ on the Cross righteousness has been credited into you life account and your prayers are powerful and effective.

So the next time you stand to pray, remember that you have been declared righteous and that your prayers have no choice but to produce powerful effects!

Love you to piece.xo

Bless your darling heart.

Anuoluwapo.

2014 is our year of enlargement, dream big & make no small plans honey!
