Monday FaithPills: The Father’s love

Though he admires and desires the classic creation, he is better off without(owing) it…
For he currently lacks the capacity to handle it, nor does he has the ability to maintain it.
His legs, too short to reach the pedals
His ams too weak to turn the wheels and while he wishes he is at the driver’s seat…that’s daddy’s position for now.
Someday, when he is all grown up, matured and adequately trained he did be able to take a trip in it all by himself (provided he has money for gas). Wink*
Regardless of his father’s love, little baby is denied the keys to daddy’s Ferrari as long as he remains a little child.
Friends, God’s blessing are always intended to make us rich(and satisfied) without any cause for regrets and whilst His words declare that the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short, the Father’s love restrains Him from releasing (since He has already given us all things to enjoy) stuffs into our lives we haven’t built capacity to handle well…that delay in marriage or promotion might just be God giving you more time to prepare so you don’t mismanage His blessing nor turn it into a curse because of your lack of capacity(or immaturity).
Hence, when you are done asking(in prayer) get up and go build some capacity honey!
The best would come only when are ready and prepared for it…not before. Smiles*

Hey, one more thing buddy whilst you are in the preparatory stage always remember that Dad’s got the wheel…you have nothing to worry about, your safe arrival is guaranteed.

Happy new week!

Monday Faithpills: God in His wisdom…

‘”It so happened that after Pharaoh released the people, God didn’t lead them by the road through the land of the Philistines, which was the shortest route, for God thought, “If the people encounter war, they’ll change their minds and go back to Egypt.”‘
Exodus 13:17(MSG)
Isn’t it amazing how God doesn’t just think of a short cut, but also a safe course…
He was absolutely right when He thought that the people might return to Egypt if faced with war. Why, you may ask? For they hadn’t built any capacity for war, all they knew to do was work…not war.
It’s the same reason why the federal government of Nigeria wouldn’t send civilians like you and I to Sambisa forest. Doing so without rigorous and adequate training at the military academy, would only result in predictable casualties. You know, besides the fact that my knowledge of medications can’t harm a rat, this young man can’t even shoot a gun…
As the loving and wise Father, God did what was best for His Children though in their foolishness they would later complain and murmur about the safe path he choose.
Friends, God isn’t just interested in your success or prosperity. He is also concerned about your safety and legacy. Hence, though there be a shortcut through the journey of life He would rather lead you through a long route for your own safety and good. In the process, He builds a warrior out the worker in you…for there would be battles to fight on your path to the promise land which neither your university certificate nor transferable skills can help you win.
Trust me, it’s safer to go through the long route with God by your side than walking alone through the short cut.
God loves you and He is constantly thinking about you.
Have a blast this new week and expect a ridiculous miracle.

When you don’t have inside information…

Can you imagine the web of confusion and frustration Moses would have found him if he wasn’t hearing from God…i mean, if he didn’t know it was God pulling the strings behind Pharaoh’s stubborn attitude?
Hmm, maybe this would help you to. Remember the last time God gave you an instruction/direction, it seemed as though things only got more difficult and the more you treaded His divine path the more trouble you got into…
At such instances, we begin to wonder if we really heard from God or not. I mean, one thinks that if God was truly involved things shouldn’t be this hard…right?
What if you knew that your troubles were actually stirred by God, would you still do exactly what He commanded(like Moses-Exodus7:6) or would you question His intention ?

Monday Faithpills: When God steps in…

When God steps in…
Who would have thought that life was going to get more difficult(as it were) for the Israelites when God stepped in?
It was bad enough that they had lost their freedom, having become slaves to pharaoh who now use them as laborers at his construction sites…at least, he still provided them with straw for brick making.
Then, God steps in and the straw stepped out. Things got worse, not better. Why?
Were things suppose to take negative turns when God steps in?
Somewhere in their minds, the Israelites wondered what kind of God it was that made things go from bad to worse. They certainly weren’t expecting such response from a God who claimed to have heard their cries, someone who was concerned about their plight.
Even Moses had his share of complaining to render, seeing the way things had turned out since his “auspicious” arrival to Egypt.
‘Moses went back to GOD and said, “My Master, why are you treating this people so badly? And why did you ever send me? From the moment I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, things have only gotten worse for this people. And rescue? Does this look like rescue to you?”‘ Exodus 5:22-23(MSG)
Anu: It don’t think it does my dear Moses! Wink*
God’s response to Moses went like this…
“My servant, don’t get yourself all worked up for the things which are seen(Israel’s present conditions) are temporary (subject to change), but the things(my promise of deliverance) which are not seen are eternal. And about the straw, I am Jehovah Jireh…I will make provisions for that also. Bet pharaoh thought his plans were ‘cool’, trust me I have better plans bro. For my plans towards Israel are of good, there’s no evil in it. Not to worry honey, I would turn everything he planned for evil for their good. He probably thinks he is punishing them, how I wish he knew he was only training them to build their own homes and cities when they get to Canaan. He is actually doing them a whole lot of favour, though it looks like evil…”
God: Does this look like a rescue to you now dear Moses?
Moses: Hmm…chai, You too sabi jare. How come I didn’t think of it that way?
God: It’s because my ways are higher than yours, and my thoughts than yours.
Moses: Roger that Sir, now I see things more clearly!
Whilst it seems like things are going from bad to worse, let not your hearts be troubled friends…God is working out everything for your good.
Take solace in this truth,
“When God makes you a promise, He isn’t telling you what He is about to do…He is telling you what He has already done in eternity past.” Bishop Wayne Malcolm
By the way, no pharaoh or power can stop what God is about to do in your life.
Do have a blessed week.
Bless your darling hearts.
